Abbey Wins Richardson Pioneer Community Celebration!

Abbey is proud to be chosen as one of only 6 communities to win the Richardson Pioneer Community Contest. We have been awarded a grant for $25,000 to help finish the rubber paving at the playground and a once in a lifetime party with Rider Alumni, Gainer the Gopher and the Rider Pep Band! Welcome Back Kaydra

We would like to welcome back our summer student, Kaydra Lloyd Lussier who will be joining us from May-August. Kaydra will be planning children’s programming, running the attic and planning other events and activities for the community.

ABC AGM

Thank you to everyone who attended the ABC Centre AGM on February 9 2022. We would to welcome Kent Haggart to our volunteer board of Directors. Kent is the mayor of Abbey and will bring a fresh perspective to our meetings.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to Dean Coburn, who has decided to step down after many years of volunteering. Dean was a valuable member of the Centre board and did countless hours of maintenance on the building. He was always willing to lend a hand on various projects and we appreciate everything he contributed. Thank you Dean!
