Village of Abbey and Abbey Business & Community Centre

Position: Community Development Assistant

The Abbey Business and Community Centre, along with the Village of Abbey are seeking a part time summer student to assist with community enhancement under the Student Summer Works Program.  The student will work alongside Abbey’s Economic Development Officer to promote community events, manage projects and secure grants.  The candidate will also work under the Village of Abbey on landscaping and beautification projects.  This position will perform other duties as required.

  

Details:

24 hours per week

$15 per Hour

July 4-Aug 26 2016

 

Position Requirements:

Currently enrolled in high school or a recognized post secondary institution and returning to full time studies in the fall

Students not returning to school in the fall are not eligible for this position

At least 15 years old

Legally entitled to work in Canada
